Some Common Reason Why My Remote is Not Working

Hi guy today we are going to be talking about some common reasons why remote may not be working on your motorcycle, This post is narrowed towards Denstar motorcycle. There are many reasons why a remote may not function and some common reasons include:

Faulty remote box

I know, that you may not be familiar with the name but that’s what controls the the motorcycle when you press the remote button. When the remote box is faulty the motorcycle will not receive a signal to work when you press the remote. in other to fix this first, check the fuse close to the remote box, this is not your normal fuse located at the side cover of the motorcycle, the remote box fuse is located under the seat, check and replace it if it’s bad.

Note…not all remote box has a fuse, if yours does not have a fuse or you replace the fuse and it’s still not working, then check the red wire that is socket to the remote box if it supplies current to the remote box. If it supplies current to the remote box and the motorcycle is not responding when you press the remote then you should consider replacing the remote box, it comes with a complete set of its remote.

How to check if a remote box is faulty

first check if the red wire socket to the remote box is supplying current to it as that is the opening current in our slang here, if there is current, turn on the motorcycle with the remote (in this case it might not turn on but is the process to trace the fault) and check the black wire that is socket to the remote box if the black wire does not supply current, then the remote box is faulty and it needs to be replaced.

Low Or Bad Battery In The Remote

Although this is not common, this can still be The reason, there are one or two batteries inside the remote that enable the remote to be able to send signers to the remote box.
