How to stop over charge on my motorcycle

Hello and welcome to sparklingGist website, here we discuss electrical problems, particularly on Denstar motorcycles, and the possible solution to get rid of them. Today we will be discussing how you can stop overcharging on denstar motorcycle.

Replace the rectifier

The rectifier is an electrical component that helps to convert an alternating current into a direct current. If the rectifier is faulty or malfunctioning this will cause the battery to be overcharged or sometimes won’t charge at all

Check for a wire cut

This is self-explanatory, check for a wire cut epically at the neck area of the motorcycle, as this may be the cause for overcharge sometimes. The wires to check for are the black wire, the white and black wire which is for engine off, and the green wire.

This method is a shortcut for reducing the current that comes from the rectifier to the batter or other parts of the electrical system. cut the black wire from the rectifier then from the part that comes from the rectifier peel the wire to reveal the metal and join it to the red wire,

Note

do not cut the red wire separately just a small peel, and why cutting the black wire remember to join the black wire from the side that comes from the rectifier and not from the side that goes to the socket so that you will not experience a bad outcome.
