Another true life story from my inbox, please read and drop your advised.
I got married two years ago, and I really don't know if I can cope. I work nine to five as a paralegal in my dad's Law Firm. My dad still gives me whatever I want, but I have to work really hard for it, because I still want to practice law.
I'm 26 years old, and I rush into marriage, irrespective of all the warning my parent gave me. My marriage is really stressful, especially if you are married to an inconsiderate jerk. This man expect me to cook after work everyday around past nine to 10 because he doesn't want to eat out or want House help that I'm ready to pay for.
I do literally everything for him. I cook, clean and I run errands. He's usually around at home around four, and he works as a manager, but he sits around, grumble till I come back, and still complain about every single thing. I don't really mind because I love cooking.
It's like a therapy for me after a long stressful day, but he does nothing, and it's annoying. He doesn't clean up after himself, he doesn't agree to go to the market. I really can't cope anymore, so I suggested cooking for the whole week on a Saturday when he legit told me he only wants fresh food. He wasn't like this before we married. Though I'm ready for a divorce, but I feel like I should still be patient a bit. What Should i do? do well to drop your suggestion in the comment section.
Have You talk to him about it? Sit him down and explain to he calmly that you need his assistance and that your job is stressful
